Christy Curran

My sister has Type 1 Diabetes. She was diagnosed at 9 years old. She is now 15. It is so hard to keep Diabetes under control, but thankfully she has stayed out of the hospital over all these years. Well, until the past month and 1/2 or so, she has had 2 visits to the ER. They have been able to get her sugar under control with no extended stay, but it is still scary. My mom is at her wits end. She has to harp on her all the time about checking her sugar and taking care of herself. She doesn't want to do it. She doesn't want to be different. My mom worries 24/7, as all moms do for their kids, but to a greater degree. It is putting too much stress on her. My dad works a job that has him away from home 2 weeks at a time. This makes things even more difficult. After an episode today, my sister told my mom that she's just ready to give up. She's tired of it.Please pray that God will show them all the right thing to do. My sister needs to see how important it is to take care of her Diabetes and my mom needs to know how much to push and when to back off. Please pray that God will keep them both safe and in His care and that we find a cure for this horrible disease SOON!!! So many families have to go through this.My sister doesn't have anyone she can confide in about her feelings and struggles with Diabetes. She has participated in the walks every year and gone to camp and other things, but just hasn't connected with that one person that she can be lifelong friends & support with. This makes the Diabetes walks I participate in so much more important. I want to find a cure for this so my sister (and every other Diabetic out there) doesn't have to give up. IT NEEDS TO BE CURED!!I also have a cousin that struggles with it and doesn't take care of himself. It is such a hard disease to live with.

God Bless You and Thank You!!!

Mary Ann and Bob Coleman

Dear Family & Friends,

We believe in the power of prayer and unexplained miracles. We are asking for your prayers for our little Caden Patrick Coleman who is in utero these past 19 weeks. He has been diagnosed with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephaly (water on the brain). His medical condition is severe and prognosis for a normal development is very much in doubt. We hang on God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." We ask you to call upon God to heal Pat & Callie's heavy heart, and give them hope and a future with their sweet baby boys, Walker and Caden. How appropriate that Caden means "spirit of battle". Keep all the Coleman & White families in your prayers...Lovingly, Bob & Mary Ann

I am having to sell my house due to an unwanted divorce. I've had many showings since June and have just received my 1st offer. It's not great, but it's an offer. I need prayer that I will hear God's direction in this matter and to know what He wants me to do and where He wants me and my 4 year old son to live. I struggle with doing the right thing. I have no family here so I feel like I'm all on my own since my husband left. God is wonderful and I know He has great plans for us, I just need to see them!
